After the port of Stagnieß you are led on a path over the Achterwasser dam. However, this is a protected landscape area. Driving on and even walking on the dam are prohibited. On a sign that I have overlooked, non-compliance with the ban is threatened with a fine. It was only when we (my son and I) left the first passage of the dam path after about 2.5 km that a new sign came up, on which my son said that he had already seen such a sign at the harbor. :(

Lt. Tour suggestion you should continue on the Dammweg, but we didn't do that. We simply used the public path, from which we were led back to the original route by Komoot, without continuing to use the forbidden dam path.
