The castle, built between 1884–1885 by Georg von Kramst in the Neo-Renaissance style based on a design by Breslau architect Carl Schmidt, was once famous for its splendor and wealth. After the Second World War, it was heavily damaged. Even in the early 1960s, the building was in acceptable condition, but was later demolished. The remains of the castle lie deep in the park and mainly comprise the ruin of a tower with Georg von Kramst's coat of arms, a terrace, and a gloriette.
