Santuario della Pietrina and Panoramic View of Val d'Era and Val di Cecina

No one is ever here, quiet and peaceful. A wonderful view of Voltera and the countryside out towards Pisa. There is also a small chaple.

It can be reached very easily and while traveling the stretches to reach it you could also make excursion detours in the area.
The main road that passes nearby is the SP 65 which connects the locality of Castagno to San Vivaldo. On the curved section before reaching Marrado we turn left passing a barrier that delimits the passage for cars and motorbikes but gives the opportunity to reach the Sanctuary of Pietrina by MTB or on foot along a 1.3 km stretch initially downhill but then with different (eat and drink) ups and downs you get to the Ruins. ONCE YOU ARRIVE YOU ENJOY THE PANORAMA IN THE SURROUNDINGS OF THE SANCTUARY. I RECOMMEND WE KEEP IT INTACT.
