Parco di Veio, a suggestive place on the outskirts of Rome. Nature and antiquity come together in a mix of sensations
May 16, 2021
Rediscovered in recent years, the Via Francigena has quickly become one of the routes of greatest tourist interest in Europe: the ancient route, which in the Middle Ages linked Canterbury to Rome, is today crossed by pilgrims from all over the world. The archaeological area of Veio on the outskirts of Rome therefore represents the last part of the Francigenous route recently made accessible for redevelopment works and the opening of a bridge over the Crèmera river.
