Aufstieg zum Großen Oelberg

The ascent to the Great Oelberg is fantastic, requires some stamina. Especially the last piece has it all. Once at the top there is a great view over the Siebengebirge and the Rhine. A break in the restaurant offers itself.

It goes steeply uphill, towards the restaurant, :-)

Somewhat easier and quieter is the ascent over the back. You can stop at the quarry and rest a bit for the last part

From here it is only a few minutes to the summit.

In winter, with ice and a little snow, it is really an adventurous climb
