The South Stoa in Corinth was one of the largest secular buildings in ancient Greece and significantly shaped the appearance of the Corinthian Agora in the Hellenistic and Roman periods.

The monumental structure was probably built in the late 4th century BC (approx. 330-300 BC). It originally served as a kind of "hotel" or guesthouse for visitors when Corinth was a political center of the Greek world.

The building was an impressive 165 meters long and about 25 meters deep. The facade consisted of 71 Doric columns, while inside the portico, 34 Ionic columns supported the roof.
