The Lechaion Road was the magnificent main connection between the ancient city of Corinth and its most important port on the Gulf of Corinth, the port of Lechaion. Today, it is one of the most impressive remnants of the archaeological site of Ancient Corinth. The road was about 20 to 25 feet (approx. 6-7 meters) wide and paved with large limestone slabs.

It was considered the "shopping street" of ancient Corinth. Numerous shops, public buildings, and a basilica were located along the road.
