Ponds and some fruit trees in this idyllic tributary valley of the Lambsbach are reminiscent of the fact that glassmakers and Pottaschbrenner had lived there until 1743, before they left the ldgrfl. Officer W. Grandfil at this place a 2 -story stone courtyard house with 3 Fischweihern and Schankerlaubnis (source: "Historic Farms", Fritz Burger) was built, which was finally cleared by the Bavarian State in the course of his forest management in 1877.
