Tips
Stonemasonry has been practiced in Stromberg since the 1st century AD. The local “Stubensandstein” (Middle Keuper) was ground into sweeping sand in around 30 mills. In Sternenfels, a cultural-historical circular trail called the Sandbauernweg was created in memory of this almost forgotten traditional craft.
