Inzigkofen is primarily known as one of the cultural and scenic jewels in the Upper Danube Nature Park (Baden-Württemberg). The town is located right on the outskirts of Sigmaringen and is famous for the combination of romantic park architecture and wild Danube nature. This park is the pride of the municipality. It was created in the 19th century (from around 1815) on behalf of Amalie Zephyrine von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen as an English landscape garden. It is considered one of the most important romantic gardens in Southern Germany.
