Vohburg an der Donau is a charming ducal town in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm. It looks back on a history of over 1,100 years and is particularly known for its connection to the House of Wittelsbach and the tragic love story of Agnes Bernauer. The Burgberg: The heart of the town. The Vohburg once perched on the almost 350-meter-high rock. Today, a reconstructed ring wall encloses the cemetery and the Pflegerschloss.
