Hannabadsåsens Nature Reserve is home to one of the highest eskers in, a narrow glacial ridge rising 20 metres above the surrounding landscape and the shores of Lake Hannabadsjön. The reserve is covered in ancient beech and oak woodland that provides a vital habitat for a large population of woodpeckers and wood warblers.
