The Town Hall of Patras (Dimarcheío Patrón), a significant neoclassical building.
It was originally built around 1880 as a residence for the wealthy raisin merchant Makrygiannis.
The city of Patras rented the mansion in 1897 to establish the town hall there, and finally acquired it in 1911.
The interiors were designed by the local painter Epameinondas Thomopoulos with landscapes of Patras and bucolic themes.
After suffering severe damage from the 1993 earthquake, the building was extensively restored to reinstate its original splendor.
The mansion is characterized by its imposing facade with sculptural decorations, marble balconies, and a striking entrance.
