Waxwing Trail is a relatively easy forested loop that runs along Bear Creek on the south side of Grande Prairie, winding through mixed boreal forest and is a mostly flat, well-maintained double-track path. The trail alternates between packed dirt and gravel, with gentle curves and limited elevation change, making it a great route for a quiet woodland walk rather than a strenuous hike.
