The Granby River flows south from the Monashee Mountains to meet the Kettle River at Grand Forks. Its clear, cold water supports rainbow and brown trout, and the river is visible as you hike parallel to it entering the Granby River Trail. Water levels rise with spring snowmelt and drop back by late summer, so depending on when you visit, the river may be less full than in other seasons.
