from the Bärenschlössle hike to Birkenkopf (Monte Scherbelino) on beautiful, pram-like hiking trails. View over the whole of Stuttgart. If you want to hike a bit further, hike from here, also on good trails, to the castle Solitude. View as far as Ludwigsburg - Asperg. From here back to Bärenschlössle. The entire trail (about 10 km) is just on smaller slopes. On the way there are several barbecue areas. You pass a wild boar and deer enclosure.
    Greetings Charly

This highlight already exists. And that's right: BÄRENSCHLÖSSLE.
LE! And do not "chen"! What else is coming? "Bärenschlösslein"?
Who had it built? Carl Eugen. And then Wilhelm I. And that were? Right. SWABS! And what does the Swabian say? "LE"!
Should we perhaps also eat spittle or spaetzle in the future? Because some fish heads think they have to provide development aid and teach us proper German?

Swiss sausage salad looked funny, with grated cheese and a bunch of onions. Luckily he was lucky. Nice it is there, great mood!

Good places to stop for refreshments around the lake ... You can sit in front of the forest clearings, recommended in summer, because you have great natural shade from the trees and at the back the "terraces" with a view of the lake ... Simply wonderful!

The story - "The Bärenschlössle"Built in 1768 as a pleasure palace by Duke Karl Eugen von Württemberg as a two-storey pavilion, made entirely of stone, in the old Roman style, the Bärenschlössle serves as a popular destination / restaurant for the people of Stuttgart and many guests from near and far. The tenant Jürgen Unmüßig with his family and over 60 employees ensure that every visitor is satisfied, with friendly and quick service. Even his mother, who began to serve the Bärenschlössle in 1964, entertained walkers who came to her with coffee, cake, "simple Vepser" and a "Viertele" Swabian wine. Jürgen Unmüßig's love of Bärenschlössle was no accident, he roamed the red deer park as a young boy and lived in the nearby game mastery, where his grandfather, Otto Günther, served as a district ranger for many years and cared for and looked after the surrounding forest ,

The rather changeable history of the Bärenschlössle was marked by construction and destruction. After Karl Eugen's death, the gondolas brought back from a trip to Italy in the lake fell into disrepair and the bear castle itself was more than down. Nothing was to be felt of the shine of a pleasure palace at that time, based on and inspired by the Italian style of that time.

But beware: If you order a cyclist, you get a beer that is splashed with mineral water.
