Burgk Castle is one of the most important cultural monuments in Thuringia. The palace complex on the Saale is the oldest and largest in the Thuringian Oberland. During a visit you can see the Burgk Castle from the inside.
The castle complex is open from April to October from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from November to March from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday is a rest day. Admission is €6 for adults and €2.50 for students.translated by

Wonderful little castle, with a great view of the surrounding area and the Saale. There is also a museum in the very well-preserved complex. The entrance fee is definitely worth it.
