Formerly one of the largest estates in the area, the farm had more than 50 employees in the late 1940s. In the course of agricultural development all land is now leased. The estate itself still houses a listed distillery, a visit - appointment by arrangement - worth in any case. The estate itself can be seen in the background, I found the cornflower field beautiful.

On the northern edge of the Iserlohn urban area, in the Drüpplingsen district, lies the Lenninghausen distillery estate, situated in a prominent location overlooking the Ruhr Valley. The estate – owned by the Bimberg family since 1811 – and the grain distillery, founded in 1858, are still run as a family business today. The distillery, like the impressive manor house, is now a listed building. The very special farm complex, with its orchards and ornamental gardens, also houses the owner's renowned landscape architecture office, an excellent evening restaurant, and an artist's studio.
