The cycle route in the Kanaltal is really great and up to the slope right at the border really family-friendly. Beware: the many cyclists find it difficult to spontaneously find a place to stay during the season. I had to drive in Pontebba at night over the lance pass because everything was occupied (the lance pass is a real force: lonely barely used, scenic great)
