Lemförder Metallwaren-Gesellschaft was founded on May 20, 1947. Wilhelm Ulderup was registered as a shareholder in the Diepholz commercial register, but his son Jürgen took over management. At the beginning, Lemförder produced everything that could be sold or exchanged in the post-war years. This included tie rods, for example. Around seven years after the company was founded, Dr. Jürgen Ulderup was the sole shareholder. Around ten years later, Lemförder outsourced part of its production to Brazil. In the South American country, the company began manufacturing tie rods and drive shafts. In 1984, ZF Friedrichshafen AG took over 51% of the shares in Lemförder Autoteile. Since 2003, ZF has held all of the company's shares. Today, the spare parts manufacturer operates factories all over the world and works with over 50 car manufacturers. Nevertheless, Lemförder still develops over 90% of its components in Germany. Source: daparto.de/Lemfoerder-Ersatzteile/Alle-Fahrzeuge/---3269

well...the Jews and forced laborers from the concentration camps who worked under SS-Jürgen's supervision in Zittau shouldn't feel this deep gratitude.

Here on the memorial stone stood the first location of the Lemförder metalware.
Later, when it was too small, they moved to Dielingen where the plant is still today (ZF Friedrichshafen
        ) stands.
Here was still the toolmaking and later the training workshop.
Until just before the demolition was still a part of the EDP settled.
