Bridge on the River Kwai – a gruesome story between Thailand and Burma. To provide the Japanese army with a rapid supply route, approximately 240,000 Allied prisoners of war and Asian forced laborers were used, of whom nearly 100,000 died as a result of the inhumane living and working conditions. Here you can visit barracks where the prisoners and forced laborers slept.
