In the east and south, the Nuremberg city limits forms the district boundary. The town consists of the two city districts 494: Kornburg in the east and the western 495: Kornburg, Worzeldorf (Ritterholz).
North of Kornburg is the Nuremberg district Worzeldorf, west are Greuth, Gaulnhofen and Katzwang, to which, however, there is no direct structural connection.
