The Pho Da Pagoda (Chùa Phổ Đà) in Da Nang is a historically significant Buddhist temple known for its tranquil atmosphere and its role as an educational center.

Built in the 20th century, it is one of the city's older temples.

It is famous for its approximately 2.4-meter-tall statue of Amitabha Buddha and

features numerous unique sculptures and traditional architecture, creating a peaceful oasis despite its central location.

Unlike more touristy pagodas such as Linh Ung, Pho Da is often less crowded and feels particularly solemn and respectful during ceremonies on full moon days (Ram).

Today, it serves as the headquarters of the
Buddhist Association of Da Nang and houses a school for Buddhist studies (Trung Cap Phet Hoc), making it an important center for the training of monks.

Opening hours: Daily from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
