Tang Chon Cave (often spelled Thang Chon) is one of the most significant and atmospheric caves within the Marble Mountains (Ngũ Hành Sơn).
The cave is located directly behind
the famous Linh Ung Pagoda. Inside the grotto are several altars and Buddha statues. Particularly noteworthy are three Buddhas symbolizing the past, present, and future. The cave is partially open to the sky, which, when the sun shines, creates a mystical play of light and a special atmosphere—ideal for photography.
In the center, there is an altar-like structure as well as stone sculptures carved deep into the rock.
