Between 1858 and 1863, Baron Charles van Caloen and his wife Countess Savina de Gourcy Serainchamps had the romantic, neo-Gothic Castle of Loppem built. The castle has been preserved in its original state.

Here you can take a break in the castle park on one of the many benches. It has a beautiful view of the imposing castle and in the background is the castle pond. You can take the wheels with you but do not drive with them but push them.
