You should arrive about 45 minutes before the train arrives. In the middle of the market, there's a spot with concrete slabs where you're allowed to stand and take photos. Otherwise, the stall owners will shoo you away. Once the train has passed, you can immediately take a good photo of it from behind! After that, you can stroll leisurely to the train station where the train has stopped.
