The approximately 24-kilometer circular trail leads through changing meadows and forest landscapes and stream valleys, past small villages. On mostly natural paths, the hiker enjoys undisturbed views over the Wahnbachtalsperre in many places. However, the designated path must not be left.
During the hike several ascents and descents are to be mastered, the entire route can only be created by experienced hikers. Smaller sections are also suitable for walks. Due to the path portion of the path can be very slippery in humid weather. Telescopic poles can be helpful here.
The circular route is well signposted. Additional information boards along the route inform about the dam, fauna and flora.

I think that you can walk around the reservoir very beautiful and scenic.

A hike around the dam is a wonderful experience in every season, especially in spring when the spring flowers unfold their colorful splendor on the forest floor.
