Hiking
Hordes of miners extracted valuable silver, lead and zinc under the most extreme climatic and working conditions. After a glorious history, the mine closed its doors in 1985. Today, as a show mine, it offers unique and practical insights into ore mining then and now. The visitors are accompanied by local guides who are very familiar with the mining traditions and most of whom come from miner families.
