National Park entrance fee: $10 + additional fee for the trails (e.g., Sendero Crater trail, $2) excluding transportation via the Eco-Mobile (as of December 28, 2025).
The trail is in excellent condition. The scenery and viewpoints are beautiful. If you prefer the tiger or puma trails, there are good options available from Granada.
To get there from Granada, take one of the regularly scheduled buses to Guanacaste from the Rivas bus terminal (C$18, 30 minutes).
Be prepared for potentially cool temperatures upon early arrival.
