Gone in mid-September 2020. Beautiful, but the way is tough! Partly very steep on a path two feet wide on the steep grass slope. There where gullies come from the mountain, sometimes very rinsed out, so that you have to watch how you first come down a few meters, over and up on the other side! The wire rope mentioned has been torn loose in one piece and is more of a threat to the descent than it helps! We also strongly recommend starting the tour over the Rehgraben, not from the Laineralm. Then the route in the Staffelgraben would only lead downhill, very steep, narrow and risk of slipping through the grass. And in or after bad weather, we would rather advise against going this tour.

The very narrow path always runs along the steep grass slope. Nothing for winter or wet days with a risk of slipping. The landscape is fantastic and wildly romantic.

Narrow, partly exposed path. Some places are insured by a wire rope.
