I think it is better to cycle through the dune area here as early as possible and make sure that you are out again at around 11am. Because after that it gets busy again with regular cyclists and walkers and children. I don't think it would be a good idea to go through with a group of cyclists. So do yourself and others a favor and go early and safely.
