Tips
This is a stunning climb up from the river with a steady gradient. Surrounded by pine trees, this climb is beautiful on a sunny day and is good preparation for the Galibier if you are heading that way.

I wouldn't describe the pass as an easy climb.
Back then I cycled from the Col de Galibier over the Col du Télégraphe into the Arc valley.
