Nice tour, entrance fees are okay. 12.50 euros for a family. Not so crowded and you walk in a circle and not on the same way back.

Tolmin gorges are a unique natural spectacle. Over many stairs it goes down to the Devil's Bridge. There is the confluence of the rivers Tolminka and Zadlascica, where it continues into the approximately 1 km long gorge of Tolmin, the bear head in the Zadlaska gorge and the Dante cave. On hot days it is humid in the gorge. Many stairs are to be transformed, which is quite exhausting. Nevertheless, a worthwhile destination in the Triglav National Park.

Hm, my opinion on this gorge is divided. On the one hand the gorge is very beautiful, on the other hand there are more beautiful gorges. Nevertheless, the gorge is of course worth seeing.
The problems with this canyon are based on two important factors:
1.) Cost. Of course, maintaining the paths costs money. But whether the now quite high entry price of 8 euros per person for such a small gorge is justified is rather questionable. We found it completely overpriced.
In addition, there is the quite high parking fee, which of course has to be paid separately if you park directly at the entrance. However, if you park on P2, you can take a free bus.
2.) Popularity. As the lady at the checkout told me when she explained the gorge to me on a map: Here are the best places for a "selfie." And that's exactly how it goes in the gorge (at least during the season). That wasn't to our liking.
You have to see this gorge if you are in the area. But once is enough. In any case, I wouldn't go back here.
