The last council meeting of the Kethel and Spaland municipal council was held in the former Kethel Town Hall on July 31, 1941. Since then, the former town hall has served many purposes: a library, a police station, a restaurant, and now, since 2017, the beautiful home and fashion store 't Ketheltje has been located there.
