Here at the summit of Mount Fernie, there is a bench for a well deserved rest. The trail does continue along an old ridge route from here to the true summit, but it requires sure footing and scrambling along a pretty narrow edge, so only attempt to continue from here if you are confident in your ability to tackle the rest of the trail. Otherwise, this is a great spot to stop and take in the views along the ridge before heading back.
