This stunning glen is privately owned and managed, and is well worth visiting. Find the narrow, vibrant glen cloaked in glorious woodland with a river cascading through it. There are plenty of Cornish folktales about St Nectan's Glen and waterfalls, and when you wander through, it's easy to believe that fairies and pixies do indeed live here.

The water flows through a hole in the rock. That looks spectacular. The whole costs admission, but you can get above "Wellingtons".
(Wellingtons are rubber boots.) When Wellington fought Napoleon, his soldiers had the better boots and, according to legend, that contributed to the victory and led to the Wellington rubber boots being named Wellingtons.)
These boots are very useful because you have to wade through the stream to get to the waterfall.
