Chipewyan Portage campsite is off a short spur on the Grey Owl Trail, where a small spur trail, Chipewyan Portage Trail, leads to Chipewyan Portage, a few yards away. This campsite is basic with basic backcountry amenities.

Please check the official site to make sure the trails here are open, as the Kingsmere River Trail and Kingsmere Wilderness Area temporarily closed in 2025 due to wildlife and fire risks.
