The newly built bridge is located in the Natura 2000 area "Schütt" at the level of the so-called "Almwirtschaft" and represents the definitive closing of the Gailtalradweg. This bridge object also provides the connection to the R3C Tarviser cycle path. Furthermore, this Gail crossing fulfills a "gate function" for gentle tourism in the Dobratsch Nature Park or Natura 2000 area "Schütt".
