The Rakitsanoja hut (Rakitsanoja kammi) is located deep within Urho Kekkonen National Park and is a simple wilderness hut for independent hikers. It sleeps up to six people, is heated by a wood-burning stove, and has a gas cooker – water must be collected from the wild and purified on-site. An authentic rest stop in the heart of the wilderness, ideal for a short break or a simple overnight stay on the way to Korvatunturi.
