Tips
The monastery (10 Sisters of the Cistercians) also includes buildings outside the monastery grounds, such as the mill, sawmill and the "Rössli" inn, which was built in 1792. Together with the schoolhouse and the vicarage, they form the hamlet of Magdenau. which originally served as a mill and sawmill, are home to numerous amphibians, especially common toads.
