This route begins on DND property governed by CFB Gagetown, and access is controlled. You must arrange permission before starting the hike. Contact Range Control at the main garrison in Oromocto, or stop at the Camp Petersville entry point to speak with the commissionaire at the Petersville Hill gate. The area is occasionally closed during military exercises, so checking ahead of time is essential. No access is permitted without authorization.
