The Upper Coulee is a trail open to hiking and mountain biking. This nature trail snakes around the eastern side of Blackstrap Lake. It brings visitors through grasses, aspen, and poplar groves, and offers viewpoints overlooking the Blackstrap Lake. It is a great natural escape close to Saskatoon, and the Lower Coulee Trail connects to it, with parking, picnic areas, and beaches.
