Reached by a short trail from Beechy Cove Road, Beachy Cove is a small, sheltered bay on the edge of Portugal Cove–St. Philip’s with a pebble-and-sand shoreline backed by steep spruce and fir slopes. The cove sits at the end of a quiet residential road with very limited parking, which helps keep it peaceful even in summer. The walk down is easy, and once you reach the beach you get calm water, rugged headlands, and a tucked-away feel that contrasts with the busier areas around Conception Bay.
