Lake Tsivlou (Greek: Λίμνη Τσιβλού, Limni Tsivlou) is considered one of the youngest natural lakes in Europe.

The lake was formed just over a hundred years ago, on March 24, 1913. It was caused by a massive landslide on Mount Gerakari, in which enormous masses of earth and rock blocked the bed of the Krathis River. The landslide completely destroyed the village of Sylivaina and buried parts of the village of Tsivlos, after which the lake was eventually named.

The inhabitants were evacuated in time, so there were very few casualties.
