One of the most beautiful and loneliest beaches in Lofoten. The only way to get to the beach is by boat and a 2 km hike. Even in the high season, the visitors are so well distributed here that you feel wonderfully lonely in this grandiose landscape.

Hiking

The southernmost of the three major Arctic and North Atlantic sandy beaches is Bunes Beach. This impresses in addition to its sheer size also by its white sand, the turquoise waters and the surrounding rugged mountains. The northeast lying and 602m high Helvetestinden can be climbed from the beach and offers a wonderful overview of the beach and the surrounding fjords.
