    Tips

    November 13, 2025

The Cacti Hiking Trail meanders through prairie grasslands and aspen groves and ends at a dune. The trail got its name from the native cacti, such as prickly pears, that can be seen along it. There isn't much shade on this trail, so bring sun protection, water, and start early. Since the cacti are fragile and sharp, please stay on the path.
