The small hop garden in Illschwang was created on the initiative of the Illschwang Horticultural Association, which also looks after it on a voluntary basis. The traditional and labour-intensive pole hops are still grown here.
The "smallest hop-growing area" is surrounded by a herb and perennial garden with a variety of native plants. For visitors or passing hikers there is a small rest area where you can have a cozy snack.
The hop garden is freely accessible all year round.
