In 1959, Szombathely erected a memorial fountain on Savaria Square to commemorate the Roman founding of the city. The statue of Tiché, the goddess of fortune and fortune, can be seen on the column of this fountain.
Inscription: "The Roman emperor Claudius raised Savaria to city status in 43 AD. This fountain commemorates the founding of Colonia Claudia Savaria."
