The Styggevatnet is mostly still frozen in June. If you are lucky, you can experience an open water surface in July. There are kayak tours offered to the glacier tongue.

I drove this driveway in June. The track is a dream and above you will be rewarded with the frozen reservoir. Very impressive.
The tarmac is not 1a, but good to drive with the road bike. In the end, a few feet of light Gravel come, but that's no problem. For me, the last three turns were covered with snow. But wearing was worth it!
From the campsite Jostedal there are 23km and 1100HM. I'll do it again tomorrow :-)
