The complex, consisting of three ponds, is located directly next to the B2 federal highway and is fed by the Brüllgraben stream. The Brüllgraben also runs through the village of Mauthaus on the opposite side of the road, where it feeds another pond. The area is very well-maintained and offers benches and a table.
